The local Greenville, North Carolina chapter of the Center for Family Violence Prevention (CFVP) recently held its 1st Annual Domestic Violence Impact Basketball Classic at J.H. Rose High School. The tournament brought together several teams of community leaders to face each other on the court to raise families for the organization. CFVP is dedicated to raising awareness of domestic violence, promoting healthy family relationships, and breaking the domestic violence cycle.

Hardee & Hardee, LLP and our personal injury attorneys participated and nearly took home the gold! Thanks to our head coach Brian Bailey — who you might recognize as a sports anchor for WNCT CBS9 — our team was able to advance in the first round of the tournament, reached the championship game, and lost by a slim margin of just 4 points! It was a thrilling matchup that motivates us to snag the top place trophy for next years’ Domestic Violence Impact Basketball Classic! There is nothing like having fun for a great cause.
